FRED CUSTER

Fred Custer invited Jesus Christ into his life while serving in the Air Force. He is a licensed P.E. holding a B.S. Degree in Electrical Engineering from Ohio State University. He and his wife Christine joined Clemson Community Church in 1990. Fred was ordained as a pastor in 1999 by the Great Commission Association of Churches. He was recognized in 2007 by the International Board of Christian Counselors and the American Christian Counselor Association as a Board Certified Pastoral Counselor.

Fred's passion is to help people to grow to their full potential in their relationships with the Lord and with others.

CARL BAUM

Carl Baum became a follower of Jesus Christ in graduate school in 1989. Read his testimony here. He received a Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign in 1992. He and his wife Mimi moved to Clemson and joined Clemson Community Church the same year. Carl is a faculty member in Electrical Engineering at Clemson University. He was ordained as a pastor in 2006 by the Great Commission Association of Churches. He also serves on the leadership team of Clemson Faculty Commons, a fellowship of Christian faculty members.

Carl's passion is to help people discover Jesus Christ and turn their lives over to Him so that they can experience His forgiveness, love, and healing.

JOHN FARMER

John Farmer accepted Jesus Christ as his Lord and Savior and began attending Clemson Community Church as a freshman at Clemson University in 1990. While at Clemson, he completed a Master's Degree in Mechanical Engineering. He and his wife Melissa also met while attending Clemson. John was ordained as a pastor in 2010 by Great Commission Churches.

 

John's passion is to serve the Lord willingly so that others can see living faith and be drawn to Jesus Christ.

STAFF

Brian Bridgeman started following Christ while in college. He received a B.S. in Forest Management from N.C. State University in 2000. Before graduating he was able to disciple other college students and begin developing as a leader. Brian and Miriam met at Grace Community Church in Raleigh, NC. In 2007, they moved to Wilmington, NC so he could lead a Great Commission Church that met on the campus of UNC-Wilmington. In 2011, they moved to Clemson to help the church reach college students in the surrounding area. They have two children, Sarah and Max.

As a campus minister, Brian's passion is to teach the Bible, live out its message and help college students do the same.
